Chicken or Egg?

We Believe

they are confused.

Business creates Demand...?

How many times have you heard this? “Business creates demand.” “Business creates jobs.” “Business needs a break.” “We have to help Employers.” “We need to stimulate Business to create growth.”

Bullshit. Business does not create demand. DEMAND CREATES BUSINESS.

Business and Demand are actually two halves of a feedback loop of trade and employment. Both are needed in a successful economy. Demand feeds Business, and Business feeds Demand. When Demand falls off, Business falls off with it. Business never falls off before Demand. You can increase Demand to stimulate Business, but trying to increase Business to stimulate Demand is like trying to push a string.

When people have something to trade, they trade it. Normally, they trade money. But if they don’t have any, then they can’t trade it. People have nothing left to trade. We are currently in the position where the people are broke. Hence no Demand. No amount of Business stimulation will help. No amount of capital injection into the Banks, no amount of tax breaks for the rich, no amount of tax breaks for business, none of it will help. What will? Go click on the Solution page and I will tell you.

Chicken or egg? I say chicken. At some time, a non-chicken laid/birthed/dropped/whatever a non-egg which contained an embryo with a genetic alteration. The alteration was the ability to create an egg. Therefore, chicken first. In other words, the very first thing that laid the very first egg was a chicken. It doesn’t matter how the chicken arrived. It’s not a chicken because it hatched from an egg, it’s a chicken because it lays eggs. Oh c’mon... Have a little fun! Lighten up a little!
